Corrina Black is a Principal PM driving experience definition for key aspects of the Windows Shell experience. Most recently, she was a Principal Designer in Microsoft Research, leading product design for a consumer IoT business incubation project. She led design for Entertainment, Camera, Productivity, and App experiences in Windows Phone, and prior to that led the Design Studio effort to enhance the Windows Phone app ecosystem by helping designers and developers learn how to create well-designed third-party app experiences. Corrina contributed to the developer experience for Microsoft platforms including Silverlight, Windows Phone, Windows 8, and XBOX. She studied Computer Science and Software Engineering at the University of Washington and has practiced interaction design for 16 years. Born and raised in the Seattle area, she enjoys the beauty and variety of outdoor activities it has to offer from snowboarding, hiking, running, boating, and the list goes on. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as meeting new people.
